The process enables to reduce environmental impacts, as it applies paint with little waste, usually burning solvents to provide energy for curing of the paint.

Beckers is continually introducing innovative products, some of which have been developed over the long-term by The Long Term Development Group.

To aid the development, Beckers has invested heavily within LTD to ensure that we have a range of analytical equipment that helps undertstand material behaviour. LTD has in their laboratory instruments that detail the molecular makeup of paint or resin. However, because the performance of a coil coating depends upon its mechanical performance, sophisticated equipment to measure modulus and hardness is also available.

In 2009 we delivered 84 000 tons of coil coatings.
